The bride wanted a big impact from the flowers for this wedding, using her
love for peonies and strong deep colours of burgundy and pink. Her unusual
bouquet included dark arums, pale pink peonies in bud and black baccarra
roses, all bound with a diamante chain. The church windows were filled with
pale pink peonies, scented stocks and candles which gave a beautiful look.
For the marquee reception the use of a pale interior and the deep flower
colours with minimal foliage resulted in very bold arrangements. As evening
fell the candles and pink up lighter's provided a wonderful atmosphere. The
vases were filled with crushed glass and water to give the effect of ice.
